Advantix Taps Brad Renville as Director of Strategic Channels

Advantix has hired Brad Renville as director of strategic channels.

Renville is an award-winning technology sales professional with more than 20 years of experience driving revenue in direct and indirect sales organizations. He has launched national channel programs and established new markets for multiple technology companies. Prior to joining Advantix, Renville was the director of channel development and sales at KORE Telematics where he was responsible for recruiting and developing channel partners capable of selling the company’s machine-to-machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions into small to large enterprises.

Brad Renville

“Brad is an accomplished and well-respected channel executive with years of experience working with sales partners and their clients,” said Natasha Royer Coons, chief revenue officer at Advantix. “He has an exceptional track record in the channel and strong relationships with leading master agents, distributors and partners throughout the country. He’s a perfect fit to help us develop our fast-growing channel program into a dominant one. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have him on board.”

At Advantix, Renville will assist company leadership with business planning and focus on strategic channel development, leveraging his experience and relationships to further solidify the company’s growing portfolio and value proposition for sales partners.

“Advantix’s solutions and reputation in the market made this an easy decision for me,” said Renville. “They’re a stand-up group with products, support and fulfillment levels that elevate them above other companies selling similar solutions. They’re also deploying a unique bundle that leverages their BLITZ™ SaaS platform with carrier APIs, expense management software and end-to-end professional services to integrate, connect and manage any device and network.”

Renville adds that the bundle delivers a seamless fulfillment experience to the channel and end-user customers, enabling them to easily manage an entire fleet of wireless or fixed telecom inventory, services, spend, and contracts within a single system, as well as access analytics and real-time reporting that can improve business outcomes.

“It’s rare in our industry to get the opportunity to engage channel partners with a fast-growing and innovative company like Advantix,” said Renville. “I’m looking forward to getting started.“

Natasha Royer Coons to Speak About IoT Opportunities

Advantix Chief Revenue Officer Natasha Royer Coons will speak in the session “IoT in a Box: Are Prebuilt Bundles Right for Your Business?” at the upcoming Channel Partners Expo in Las Vegas.

The Internet of Things (IoT) consists of devices – from sensors to smartphones to appliances and wearables – connected together via the Internet and combined with automated systems to gather information, analyze it and create actions that lead to efficiencies and improved outcomes for businesses and consumers.

Service providers, distributors, IT suppliers and others are promoting pre-assembled sets of IoT hardware, software and sometimes connectivity, often tailored to specific verticals. For partners without integration expertise, these can seem like a win-win. However, the IoT market is far from shaken out, with literally hundreds of platforms available and new innovations constantly coming online.

In the Channel Partners session, Royer Coons will join Steve Brumer, a partner at IoT Group, to debate whether IoT bundles are a smart business bet or a recipe for lock-in, and discuss the pros and cons of an “in the box” approach versus custom integration.

The session begins at 11:20 a.m. on Wed., April 10 at the Mandalay Bay, the Channel Partner show venue. Partners looking for new revenue opportunities – even those without any IoT experience – should mark the date because the IoT frontier is expanding fast. Companies in just about every vertical are getting active or planning to get active with the technology.

Advantix Announces Mobility Integration API with AT&T

Advantix announces the availability of a new, automated end-to-end ordering platform, the AdvantixBLITZTM API integration with AT&T, that simplifies wireless order processing for AT&T customers.

Advantix, located in Richardson, Texas, is a leader in the mobility management service (MMS) and telecom expense management (TEM) channels. The company’s premium mobility integration product combined with AT&T’s eBonding platform provides seamless wireless product order processing that helps to save customers time and resources.

“Advantix customers have been benefitting from this solution since October of 2017, and we are now pleased to make it available for purchase on the open market,” said Nathan Brown, Chief Operating Officer at Advantix. “We are honored to work with AT&T to provide this exceptional order processing experience. Our cloud computing technology will enhance service levels and streamline wireless ordering and payment processes for AT&T customers.”

More than just a highly secure, cloud-based connectivity service, this simple solution is a “one-stop shop” that removes complex processes and streamlines ordering. The “plug n play” solution provides enhancements for wireless inventory, provider equipment and plan catalog, billing data, payment processing, store orders, and customer care.

The formerly manual process of transferring orders from the ticketing system into the AT&T portal is now automated. End users get near real-time price quoting and accurate prices before the order is placed and can now opt to pay for one-time equipment charges for devices and accessories using a credit card via a highly secure online web payment portal. Each transaction is auditable without the need to share user credit card information with a solutions center agent. In addition, AdvantixBLITZTM offers more efficient processing of customer orders with full logging and status tracking, boasting no lost orders.

The benefit that Advantix offers to AT&T customers is a better way to take advantage of the full spectrum of the existing AT&T eBonding platform by using a customized software interface. The highly secure platform meets customers’ unique business needs by enabling internal enterprise systems to generate transactions directly into AT&T proprietary systems, eliminating the need to re-key data from customer internal systems into AT&T systems.

The AT&T eBonding platform uses APIs to streamline the sending of large numbers of orders, trouble tickets, and inventory requests. The system also allows for rapid confirmation of transactions through e-mail, as well as on-demand status and inventory checks without customers having to call AT&T.

“The Advantix API is fully integrated with AT&T’s spectrum of services,” said Brian Nuckels, Chief Information Officer at Advantix. “The combination of our custom interface with automatic integration into the AT&T eBonding platform helps differentiate us from our competitors. For our customers, this platform takes away the complexity of developing their own API integration and further enhances their experience with instantaneous ordering and near real time access to device inventory and pricing.”

The AdvantixBLITZTM API integration with AT&T is also available for purchase through the AT&T Alliance Channel.
